DOJ files criminal charges against Pakistan Taliban leader

Jurist reports on September 1, 2010, in an article titled "DOJ files criminal charges against Pakistan Taliban leader," The US Department of Justice announced Wednesday that it has charged Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimulla Mehsud as a result of the December 30 attack on the CIA Afghan oupost Camp Chapman that left nine people dead. 

The filing in the US District Court for the District of Columbia, available from Jurist here, charges Mehsud with conspiracy to murder US citizens abroad and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction against US citizens abroad.
