US eyes terror charges for Yemeni cleric al-Awlaki

In an article entitled "US eyes terror charges for Yemeni cleric al-Awlaki," The Washington Times reports today (9/14/10) that the Obama administration is considering filing the first criminal charges against Anwar al-Awlaki if he should be captured alive in Yemen.

Al-Awlaki, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Yemen, has become al Qaeda's leading English-speaking voice for recruiting and motivating terrorists.
