Juror Indicates Deadlock in Embassy Bombing Trial

The New York Times reports today, Monday November 15, in an article entitled "Juror Indicates Deadlock in Embassy Bombing Trial," that the jury in the trial of Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani has reached a deadlock.

One juror in the trial asked the judge during deliberations to take her off the case saying she felt she was being attacked "for my conclusion." The note from the juror came just before lunch on the third day of deliberations in the trial of the alleged embassy bomber.

Ghailani faces conspiracy and murder charges stemming from the 1998 terrorist attacks in East Africa.
