Youth pleads not guilty in ‘Jihad Jane’ terror case – Philadelphia Inquirer

According to an October 25, 2011 article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 18-year-old Mohammad Hassan Khalid became the youngest terrorism suspect to be indicted in the United States. Khalid pleaded not guilty to material support charges.

According to federal prosecutors, Khalid was involved in a plot to plan violent attacks abroad and to raise money for terrorists. U.S. District Judge Petrese B. Tucker scheduled a status conference for November 16, 2011. Trial is expected to begin on December 13, 2011.
