Viktor Bout Convicted in Arms Dealing Case – WSJ

On November 2, 2011, the Wall Street Journal reported that international arms dealer Victor Bout was convicted of conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist group.

Bout, 44 years old, has been accused of being involved in every African conflict since the 1990s. In closing arguments, federal prosecutors argued that Bout sold weapons to organizations that wanted to kill Americans.
