NYPD’s Spying Programs Produced Mixed Results – Fox News

On December 23, 2011, featured an article by the Associated Press, that assessed both the successes and shortcomings of NYPD's counter-intelligence program.  Titled NYPD's Spying Programs Produced Mixed Results, the article provides a time-line from the program's inception after the 9/11 attacks to present day.  The article highlights some of the program's successes such as the 2004 plot to bomb a Manhattan subway station and discusses controversial programs such as the use of "mosque crawlers."
