Accused NYC Subway Terrorist to Face Anonymous Jury – ABC

On February 23, 2012, ABC.com reported that an "anonymous jury" will be used in the trial of Adis Medunjanin.  Federal prosecutors have accused Medunjanim of attempting to blow up the New York City subway system in September 2009.

According to the article, in using an anonymous jury, all jurors will only be referenced by their assigned number and all "identifying information for the jurors is withheld from the public."  The prosecution sought an anonymous jury because of the high profile of the case and the heightened risk to jurors.
