Accused terrorist in Iraq facing US charges – New York Times

On February 23, 2012 the New York Times reported that the "Obama Administration has approved military commission charges against a Lebanese man accused of helping kill United States troops in Iraq."  According to the article, Ali Musa Daqduq, the last detainee held by American forces in Iraq, was handed over to Iraqi officials in December.  Currently, American officials are working with the Iraq government to transfer Daqduq to a U.S. military commission.
