Indictment for Jose Pimentel said to be near – New York Times

On February 26, 2012, the New York Times reported that Jose Pimentel, the Manhattan resident charged with creating bombs for a terroristic purpose, is expected to be indicted by a grand jury sometime this week.  According to the article, Pimentel, who is being charged by local rather than federal prosecutors, was charged back on November 20, 2011 on weapons possession and state terrorism charges.  Should he be found guilty, Pimentel faces a possible life sentence.
