Nicaraguan to face US drug, terrorism charges – Washington Post

On February 28, 2012, the Washington Post reported that William McField-Bent, a Nicaraguan national, has been extradited to the United States to face charges of drug trafficking and providing material support to Colombia's AUC paramilitary group, a designated foreign terrorist organization.  According to the article, McField-Bent was arrested by undercover federal agents.  He faces four drug trafficking and four material support charges, with the possibility of a life sentence.
