Special terror interrogation group used 14 times in last two years

According to a March 7, 2012 entry on CNN's national security blog, FBI Director Robert Mueller testified before the House appropriations committee that a special interrogation group called the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group (known as "HIG") was used fourteen times in the last two years. 

According to the article, the HIG is headquartered in the FBI but consists of members from both the FBI and the CIA.  The HIG collects information on an alleged terrorist's background and was used during the investigation of Faisal Shazad ("Time Square bomber") and Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab ("Underwear Bomber").
