Massachusetts Man Sentenced for Attempting to Provide Material Support to Terrorists

The Miami Herald reported that Rezwan Ferdaus, a 27-year-old Massachusetts man was sentenced to 17 years in prison after he pleaded guilty in July to attempting to provide material support to terrorists and attempting to damage and destroy federal buildings with an explosive.

As the article states, Ferdaus, of Ashland, was discovered plotting to fly remote-controlled model planes packed with explosives into the Pentagon and the Capital.

According to the Miami Herald, Ferdaus referred to “a world filled with injustices,” and commented as follows: “Who other than God knows best what it takes to make a good human being.”
