Video of Panel on Role of the Courts in National Security Law: Past, Present and Future

During the American Bar Association’s 22nd Annual Review of the Field of National Security Law on November 29-30, 2012, the first panel discussion was entitled “Role of the Courts in National Security Law: Past, Present and Future.”  The panel was moderated by our own Professor Bill Banks.  The panelists included:

  • Robert Chesney, professor of law, University of Texas, Austin School of Law
  • James Robertson, retired judge, District Court for the District of Columbia
  • Brett M. Kavanaugh, judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia
  • Deborah Pearlstein, assistant professor of law, Cardozo School of Law.
